Who we are?
Our website address is https://www.alienwebdeveloper.com
What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
We may send an anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. You can read the Gravatar Privacy Policy on the Automattic website.
After we approve your comment, your profile picture becomes visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS) in those images. Visitors can download images from the website and extract any location data stored in them.

Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies make things easier by remembering your details when you leave another comment. They last for one year.
When you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data, and your browser discards it when you close the browser.
Logging in also activates several cookies that save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, while screen option cookies last for one year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps your login active for two weeks. After you log out, your browser removes the login cookies.
Editing or publishing an article also adds a cookie to your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply records the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images, and articles. This content works in much the same way as if you had visited the other website directly.
Third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, add tracking technologies, and monitor how you interact with their embedded content. If you have an account with one of those websites and remain logged in, they may also track your interaction with the embedded content.

Who do we share your data with
How long do we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights do you have over your data?
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where do we send your data?
Visitors’ comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
